Riverside ​Community Center Resilience Hub

​In a groundbreaking partnership, the Taunton Housing Authority, together with the Mass Clean Energy Center, Beacon Climate Innovations (BCI), and community based organization T.R.U.E. Collective (from T.R.U.E. Diversity), is forging ahead with the Community Center Resilience Hub (CCRH). This pioneering project is set to sow the seeds for a greener, more empowered community, guiding Taunton's residents towards a sustainable future. The CCRH will be more than a hub for community gatherings and programs; it's envisioned as a model of sustainability and resilience, functioning as a carbon-neutral beacon. With integrated clean energy systems, the center will be an educational showcase for cutting-edge energy solutions, actively contributing to carbon footprint reduction.
